Hi David, Greetings from Oklahoma! Your mom told me about your blog a few days ago and I have just spent some very enjoyable time reading your entries and getting to know you. Over the years I have had a few chances to connect with Michael as he grew older but have never had that chance with you, much to my regret. But I feel like I've covered some lost ground this morning and am so glad I had that conversation with Jeanne. After all my years in the restaurant business, from car hopping at the Blue Ash Frisch's in the 70's to my last job in fine dining at Marcel Desaulniers' restaurant in Williamsburg, your comments about the restaurant business have brought back many memories! I can definitely relate. It is a very unique world and one that a person has to be a part of to understand. I especially enjoyed reading the answers to the questions about your life. Alex, who has always dreamed of being a golfer has also discovered that he has a talent for writing so it will be interesting to see where he ends up. Lastly, I love reading about your family and can't wait to hear updates.
